Asaf, was born in Jerusalem to a family that founded the Holy City for about 6 generations. Asaf's formal education was obtained at "The visual art and Theatre school of Jerusalem-SVT”. His work experience includes The Israeli Museum of Jerusalem, where he worked on the restoration of the Sussia Synagogue, along with many other works and paintings for the municipality of Jerusalem in Muslala (the artist quarter) like the oil painting of "The act of the king's daughter" the story wrote by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov… Until now some of his paintings can be seen in Jerusalem on the “Mahaney Yehuda” roads.
Asaf studied the art of ceramics in several professional studios in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
Levia is a ketubah designer and a painter, she made Alya from France since more than 20 years. She learned painting and calligraphy from France and she also studied chemistry here in Israel at Ariel University in Samaria, which allows her to understand how to use ceramic materials.
We are working together around each creation. Our purpose is to glorify God as it's explained in the "Song of the sea - שירת הים" we are singing every morning, it's written: "זה אלי ואנוהו- This is my God, and I will make a dwelling for Him".
The meaning of making a dwelling for Him is explained by our sages: when we practice the mitzvot with joy and fervor, we make a dwelling for G-d within us and thus glorify God. This is why it is so important to invest in judaica to beautify the mitzvot and Judaism.

We love so much the mitzvot that we decided to convey this love into our judaica art creations.
Best,
Asaf & Levia Man.
