This watercolor jewish ketubah was hand painted in our studio here in Israel. The inspiration for this jewish wedding artwork comes from the blessing we give to the bride and groom at their wedding: "כשמך יצירך בגן עדן מקדם - As your name be called in the Garden of Eden". Rabbi Yaakov Galinsky, zt"l, was very precise in the words of Rashi (Ketubot 8.) on this blessing "Rejoice, you who are loved, as your joy will create you in the Garden of Eden from the beginning... It makes the bride and groom happy" - it is a prayer that is prayed and blessed, "May they be happy and successful all their days." It makes both of them happy forever with the provision of sustenance and all good, as well as all. In this blessing, we wish the couple to live together as Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden, meaning that they saw only each other in the happiness of the Paradise.
The painting itself was so beautiful that I decided to offer it without the figures of the bride and groom. If you would like to add the figures, you can do so at no additional cost and send me which figures you chose from those offered in the "Optional addition" picture. If you do not send me a message with a written choice, it will be sent without figures.
You can also choose which text font you prefer, the one in the image will be the default selection, if you would like to change it, please choose which font you prefer from those offered in the image "Text font options" and send me a message with the number of the font you want. I will be happy to make groom and bride happy!
This ketubah is printed on acid-free cotton matt paper 240 gr at a printing house that specializes in museum-quality giclee art printing.
