This hand painted ketubah "Mishkan" is remember our holy temple and designed for the unique wedding day groom and bride are king and queen. Our sages explain to us that each marriage brings the Massiah closer since the Jewish house is holy and considered like a little Beit hamikdash (holy temple). This was the inspiration for this ketuba, an open window of the holy temple. In the mishkan, the holy temple Betzalel built in the desert, there was no metal, instead Betzalel used wood, silver and gold, because the metal is used for weapons of war. That the reason this window is from wood and stone, with gold and beautiful vitrage glass for a life of peace, serenity and love. May we see soon the Holy temple rebuild…
The Gold I used is pure gold powder 24K I mix by myself to be used in painting or immitation gold painting which looks similar. The gilding of this painting is hand-painted on a lithograph of my original watercolor drawing previous printed on acid-free cotton matt paper 240 gr at a printing house that specializes in museum-quality giclee art printing.
