About Us

We are Asaf and Levia Man, a Jewish couple of artists. With our love for The Painter of the whole world, for the land of Israel and for the Jewish art, we founded our humble business “Judaica Man” located in Israel in the wonderful region of Gush Etzion.

Judaica Man is a boutique-style studio with an old‑world charm, whose purpose is to share the beauty of Judaism, as it is said in the Song of the Sea: “This is my God and I will glorify Him”. Some Sages explain it as “I and Him” and that “There is no dwelling place except the Holy Temple” as it is written: “And they shall make Me a sanctuary, and I will dwell among them”. The meaning is: when a person performs a mitzvah with joy, they create within themselves a sacred space that connects them to God and to His commandments”.

Asaf was born in Jerusalem. His formal education was obtained at “The visual art and Theatre school of Jerusalem-SVT”. His work experience includes The Israeli Museum of Jerusalem, where he worked on the restoration of the “Susian Synagogue”, along with many other works for the Municipality of Jerusalem in the artist quarter Muslala…

Asaf has worked over the years in various types of art: drawing, sculpture, lighting design, pottery, stage design, and more.

Today, Asaf creates Judaica items from ceramics using various techniques.

Levia, his wife, immigrated to Israel from France about twenty years ago, where she studied painting and calligraphy. She also studied chemistry in Israel at the Ariel University in Samaria, which allows her to understand how to use ceramic materials.

She specializes in illustration, watercolor painting, calligraphy in Hebrew and many languages and combines the ancient craft of decorating with pure gold powder and gold leaf in order to create Ketubahs for Jewish weddings, Jewish paintings, Prayers, Blessing for the Home, and more.

All our artworks are Jewish handmade only and receive personal attention with an emphasis on the small details.

We regard the creation of Jewish art as both a sacred privilege and a heartfelt mission. Guided by the belief that Hashem is the One who grants the strength to accomplish, we see ourselves merely as “Clay in the hands of the Master Artisan”. Every piece we craft is an expression of devotion, beauty, and the timeless spirit of our heritage.
