This piece of Jewish art is an unique prayer for Jewish women as they light Shabbat candles. I decided to adorn this prayer with gold to recall the importance of Jewish women and this mitzvah, which brings their light into the home throughout the week. Purple and earthy colors were chosen to symbolize the earth, which is the symbol of women in the Torah; women, like the earth, grow fruit within them, their dear children.
The text of this prayer is the ancient text of the Shabbat candle prayer for generations.
Each piece is made with a mix-media technique and hand-painted with gold and pearl color on an archival giclée print of my original watercolor hand painting. The paper used is a high-quality 240 gsm acid-free Italian paper.
You could also choose also to give a "jewelry painting" to your wife/ bride by choosing the option of 24K Gold painting which I'm painting with pure 24K gold powder I'm blending by myself to match for painting.

You could chose to get this artwork framed or not. Please chose the option you desire. The framed which will be used is the white frame there is on the pictures (meterial: MDF). Plexiglass is used to cover the frame in order to keep the artwork safe during the shipping :)
