A personally designed ketubah is a truly original ketubah — designed, painted, and adorned entirely to your vision. This is genuine artwork, a painting we create together. “Know that every shepherd has his own unique melody” (Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, Likutei Moharan). Each of us carries beautiful ideas, but not always the tools to bring that idea from potential into reality. Hand-lettered calligraphy or print? Minimalist or realistic illustration? Which colors? Gold, copper, silver, or muted tones? We’re delighted to offer you our full attention and expertise so you can create a design that’s entirely your own — guiding you from your very first idea all the way through to the finished piece.
The process begins with a conversation. If you already have a clear idea, we’ll talk it through together and discuss how best to bring it to life — in keeping with Jewish law as well as the design vision. And if you don’t yet have an idea, you’ll receive a detailed questionnaire with carefully crafted questions, so that together we can shape a sketch for the most beautiful ketubah for you.
From there, Levia will draw an initial sketch of the ketubah, and once you’ve approved it (or requested changes), she’ll begin the work itself. Don’t worry — we send photos and videos throughout the process and once it’s complete, so you can feel confident this truly is the ketubah you dreamed of.
The starting price for a personally designed, hand-crafted ketubah with printed text is 3,000 NIS, and varies according to any additions requested — such as hand-lettered calligraphy, Hebrew or an additional language, real gold leaf gilding and gold pigment painting, or faux-gold finishes.

** INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
* Standard via FedEx: at a cost of 90 NIS (about 30$ converted to the customer’s local currency according to the official exchange rate), delivered to the customer within 7–20 business days.
* Express via Dhl/ FedEx: at cost of 150 NIS (about 51$ converted to the customer’s local currency according to the official exchange rate), delivered within 2–7 business days.
** DOMESTIC SHIPPING (WITHIN ISRAEL):
Express only at a cost of 55 NIS (the amount in shekels will be converted to the customer’s local currency according to the official exchange rate), delivered by courier to the customer’s home within 2–7 business days from the day the order is shipped.
Most of our products are exempt from local taxes in the United States, and we do everything possible to assist our customers if a package is delayed in customs or for any other reason.
